Job Summary
Emergency Veterinarian position in Overland Park, KS. Responsibilities include triage and prompt evaluation of emergency cases, performing physical exams, diagnostics (ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, biopsies), and formulating diagnostic and therapeutic plans. Conduct and assist with emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures; communicate diagnoses and treatment options to clients, prepare estimates, and maintain accurate medical records. Participate in client education on aftercare and prevention. Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with ongoing mentorship and access to VEG Education programs and unlimited ER CE. Must hold a DVM or equivalent degree and be capable of handling high-pressure emergencies, including exotics, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg (assistance to 40 kg). Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
