Job Summary
Emergency Veterinarian opportunity in Knoxville, TN. You’ll handle ER cases including exotics, perform emergency surgeries and endoscopy, conduct diagnostics (examinations, ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, biopsies), develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans, communicate diagnoses and treatment options to clients, prepare estimates, maintain medical records, educate clients on aftercare, and participate in a fast-paced, team-oriented ER environment with mentorship and ongoing education opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- A DVM or equivalent degree
- Live and breathe emergency medicine, including emergency surgery and endoscopy
- Thrive in team-oriented environments
- Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and work on the floor as well as lift up to 25 kg and support up to 40 kg
- Willing to work in a noisy environment with strong odors
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on rotating basis
- Work well with diverse backgrounds
