Job Summary
Emergency Veterinarian needed in Hoboken, NJ to handle ER cases from triage through treatment, including physical examinations, diagnostics (ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, biopsies), and surgeries; responsible for communicating diagnoses and treatment options to clients, preparing estimates, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role emphasizes leadership on the hospital floor, mentorship and ongoing learning through VEG Education programs and unlimited ER CE, with opportunities for growth, travel stipends, and student loan repayment. Must thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating or as-needed basis
- Proficiency in emergency medicine, including emergency surgery (soft tissue) and endoscopy
