Job Summary
Conduct emergency veterinary care for outpatients and hospitalized patients at our 24-hour facility in Chula Vista, performing surgeries such as gastrostomies and GDVs. Utilize the newly added ultrasound machine and upcoming vessel sealing device ("Ligature") to expand clinical skills. Maintain an active DEA license and hold a valid State Veterinary Board License in good standing. Enjoy a schedule with paid time off, including 8 weeks of full-pay parental leave and bereavement support for both humans and pets. Access subsidized backup care for children, adults, and pets, along with mental health coaching and therapy sessions. Complete continuing education through free courses and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligibility
