Emergency Veterinarian - Fort Lauderdale, FL

As an Emergency Veterinarian at VEG in Fort Lauderdale, you’ll handle emergency cases across a full spectrum of skills—from triage and rapid assessments to diagnostics (ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, biopsies) and both minor and major emergency surgeries, including work with exotics. You’ll gather signalment, presenting complaints, vitals, and exams to create diagnostic and therapeutic plans, communicate options to clients, prepare estimates, and review medical records. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented ER environment with a focus on mentorship, continuous learning through VEG Education programs and unlimited ER CE, and opportunities to advance your career while delivering exceptional care to pets and their families.
