Job Summary
Emergency Veterinarian in Brentwood, MO. You’ll handle emergency cases and exotics, perform physical exams, order and interpret ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, and biopsies, develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans, communicate options to clients, prepare estimates, and maintain medical records. Responsibilities include triage, on-the-floor leadership, endoscopy and both minor and major emergency surgeries, and education for clients on aftercare and prevention. The role supports mentorship and ongoing learning through VEG Education programs and unlimited ER CE, with opportunities for travel stipends, credentialing advancement, and growth within a team-focused ER environment. Must hold a DVM or equivalent degree and be committed to emergency medicine, with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on rotating or as-needed basis.
