Job Summary
Provide emergency healthcare to animals in a hospital setting, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, performing surgeries, writing prescriptions, operating medical equipment (e.g., CT-scan, urinalysis), documenting records, and participating in hospital leadership and owner education. Travel for continuing education is optional; may cover shifts at BluePearl hospitals within the same MSA. Must have DVM and CA veterinary license, with at least one year of applicable emergency experience; production-based compensation may apply; benefits and ancillary options discussed with interviewer. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (foreign equivalent accepted)
- California veterinary license
- one year of experience as an Emergency Veterinarian, Associate Veterinarian, Veterinarian Specialist – Emergency, or Emergency Clinician
