Job Summary
Provide emergency medical care to critically ill or injured animals by performing rapid assessments, diagnostics, and life-saving interventions. Develop and implement treatment plans while utilizing advanced diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, and in-house laboratory equipment. Perform emergency procedures to stabilize patients and collaborate with veterinary specialists and support staff for comprehensive care. Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners during high-stress situations and maintain accurate medical records.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- Experience or interest in urgent care or emergency medicine
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
