Job Summary
Respond to emergency service calls for roof tarping, board-ups, water extraction, and property securement to prevent further loss from storm, fire, vandalism, and vehicle impacts. Install emergency roof tarps, perform initial mitigation services, and board up windows, doors, and structural openings. Assess damaged structures for temporary stabilization, load and transport materials, maintain vehicle inventory, document job conditions with photos, and identify opportunities for additional services. Follow safety protocols for ladder and roof work while working independently in various weather conditions. Participate in rotating after-hours emergency response schedule with on-call requirements. Reside in or near Marietta, Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift 100+ pounds
- Comfortable working on ladders, steep roofs, and elevated surfaces
- Experience using construction tools including saws, drills, and fastening equipment
- Ability to work in various weather conditions including heat, rain, and cold
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Participation in after-hours emergency on-call rotation
- Must be able to respond to emergency calls within 30 minutes to 2 hours
- Candidate should reside in or near Marietta, Georgia
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of roofing, construction, restoration, or related field experience
- Roofing experience
- Restoration industry experience
- OSHA 10 or safety training
- Leadership or crew lead experience
