Job Summary
Respond to emergency situations on a rotating on-call schedule for storm, mold, fire, water, and flooding damage. Conduct job-site inspections, unload and load equipment, and drive company vehicles while adhering to all health and safety procedures. Perform water extraction, demolition, structure cleaning, and mold remediation, including industrial drying equipment placement, soot removal, and odor remediation. Execute heavy content manipulation, sewage back-up cleaning, and temporary roof repairs. Maintain detailed scopes of work and communicate professionally with managers, teammates, homeowners, and insurance agencies. Requires a valid driver's license, clear driving record, and ability to lift over 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and a clear driving record
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Basic knowledge of smartphone/email technology
- Ability to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
- Must be willing to learn how to perform water extraction, demolition, content manipulation, and industrial drying equipment placement
- Must be willing to learn structure cleaning after a fire loss
- Must be willing to learn demolition
- Must be willing to learn microbial growth remediation
- Must be available for weather related events
- Reports to work on time
- Adheres to on-call rotation schedule
- Ability to function in a high stress environment that can change daily
- Takes pride in their work
- Regularly required to talk and hear
