Job Summary
Mitigation Project Manager leads emergency-loss response (fire, water, mold, trauma, vehicle impacts) and oversees mitigation projects from initial response through completion. Responsibilities include managing multiple customers and priorities in a fast-paced environment, serving as the on-site daily contact with exceptional customer service, supervising crews of 3+ team members, performing labor tasks such as controlled demolition and debris removal, ensuring workmanship quality and safety compliance, operating restoration equipment (drying equipment, dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA filtration), assessing damage and managing pack-outs and inventory within budget, providing progress documentation to customers and insurance carriers, driving company vehicles as needed, and participating in after-hours/on-call rotation. The role emphasizes leadership, project management, safety, and strong communication within the Paul Davis standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active IICRC WRT certification required; ASD certification preferred (AMRT and FSRT certifications are a plus)
- 3+ years of experience as a Mitigation Restoration Project Manager handling water, fire, and mold losses
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to pass a motor vehicle report
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Willingness to participate in an after-hours/on-call rotation
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Willingness to work in fire, smoke, mold, water damage, and other hazardous environments (PPE provided by Paul Davis)
- Ability to pass a DOL physical
