Emergency Services Instructor

Job Summary
Part-time sessional instructors sought to develop, deliver, and maintain online content; supervise student placements; and facilitate hands-on lab instruction. Onsite work at the Health Education Centre in Grande Prairie, AB is required on specific dates for EMR and PCP programs. Appointment runs Aug 15, 2026, to Apr 30, 2027, with instructional time assigned based on program needs. Ideal candidates will have a Primary Care Paramedic Certificate, current practice permit, and two years of full-time paramedic/healthcare practice, with strong EMS education experience and proficiency in learning management systems and online instruction. Additional instructor certifications (ACLS, PALS, ITLS, NRP, etc.) are preferred. Proficiency in OSCE development, high-fidelity manikin operation, scenario development, and use of simulation-management systems, as well as IT fluency (Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams, Outlook) are desired. Applicants must provide credentials and participate in an interview process including a teaching demonstration.
Required Qualifications

- current practice permit in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics
- minimum of two years of full-time paramedic/healthcare practice
