Job Summary
Respond to fire-related calls for service as part of the Fire Brigade; conduct and record safety audits and inspections; educate employees on safety standards; investigate accidents; liaison between the Park and external Fire Agencies; maintain safety equipment and facilities; complete tasks from Supervisors/Managers. Requires NJ Firefighter 1 certification, ICS IS-700/IS-800/ICS 100/ICS 200.c, CPR, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED. The role involves in-person safety inspections, audits, accident investigations, and coordination with public safety partners at Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, NJ).
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must possess a valid driver’s license at all times
- NJ Firefighter 1 Certified
- ICS 100 (Introduction to ICS)
- ICS 200.c (ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents) *Must be in-person
- IS-700 (National Incident Management System)
- IS-800 (National Response Framework)
- Current and Valid CPR Certification.
