Job Summary
Conduct selected diagnostics and procedures, assist with patient transport and lifting, and provide general clerical and cleaning support to the Emergency Department unit. Execute delegated tasks from RN or Physician, assist in implementing plan of care by performing common clinical procedures, and demonstrate competency in Basic Airway Management, CPR, vital signs, and Electrocardiogram. Work within the scope of practice to support safe, cost-efficient patient care and unit operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate General Studies
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program
- Medical Assistant program
- Certified Nursing Assistant Program
- Licensed Practical Nurse program
- completion of one year of nursing school
- High School GED General Studies
- Certified Nursing Assistant: WA
- Licensed Practical Nurse: WA
- Medical Assistant Certification: WA
- Registered Nursing Assistant: WA
- Basic Life Support - CPR
