Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care in the Emergency Department, assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers while maintaining a safe environment. Perform and maintain competencies in EKGs, glucose testing, and phlebotomy. Document all activities in the Electronic Medical Record and adhere to department policies and regulatory requirements. Requires one year of satisfactory experience as a Nurse's Aide or prior EMT experience, along with BLS certification.
