Emergency Room Tech - PRN

Emergency Room Tech – PRN role providing essential support in the ER by assisting with patient care under licensed staff. Performs clinical interventions and procedures (splint application, Foley catheter insertion, accuchecks, vital signs, EKGs, IV insertion), assists with patient transport, maintains infection control, restocks supplies, documents care in the EMR, and supports unit operations with clerical tasks. Requires calm, organized, patient-focused performance, strong communication, knowledge of safety and HIPAA/EMTALA considerations, and ability to work with a care team in a fast-paced environment. Certifications preferred include CNA, EMT, Phlebotomy, or Medical Assistant credentials; Basic Life Support as required by certifying bodies. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and dedication to patient safety are essential.
