Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Room, assessing pain regularly and performing procedures as ordered by medical providers. Document care administration in patient medical records promptly and respond to patient requests while anticipating needs proactively. Teach patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes to support self-management. Maintain an active RN license and obtain Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications within 30 and 90 days of employment, respectively.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
