Job Summary
Assess patient pain regularly and perform procedures as ordered by medical providers while documenting care in patient medical records. Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate needs to resolve issues. Teach patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, medications, side effects, and lifestyle changes like diet and exercise. Advocate for patients and families while collaborating with medical providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days and Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
