Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, documenting care in patient medical records. Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs to resolve them proactively. Teach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures, translating complex terminology for understanding. Educate on non-medicinal lifestyle changes, disease prevention, and healthy diet, preparing patients for future self-management. Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with department requirements and state standards. Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within six months and Basic Cardiac Life Support within thirty days of employment.
