Job Summary
Assess, stabilize, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. Triage incoming patients to determine urgency, monitor conditions for immediate intervention, and administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments. Operate monitoring equipment, assist with trauma care and life-saving procedures, and collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans. Maintain accurate documentation and educate patients on diagnoses and discharge instructions. Promote patient safety and support quality improvement initiatives. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification preferred. Submit resume to Careers@desortstaffing.com.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or ability to obtain
- Previous emergency, critical care, trauma, or acute care nursing experience preferred
