Job Summary
PRN Emergency Room RN position at HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital. Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the ER, assessment and management of patient pain, performing procedures and treatments as ordered, documenting care in the medical record, and educating patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up. Requires RN license and nursing degree (ADN or BSN), ACLS/BLS/CPI/PALS certifications with specified timelines after start date. Required Qualifications
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Active/Current RN license
- ACLS must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
- BLS/Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
