Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Room in collaboration with medical providers and the care team. Provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage" while serving as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers. Maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing and hold BLS, ALCS, PALS, and CPI certifications. Requires one year of RN experience, with preferred ER/Critical Care background. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, with an option to enroll in a BSN program within five years of hire.
Required Qualifications
- One year of RN experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position
- Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- BLS certification
- ALCS certification
- PALS certification
- CPI certification
Desired Qualifications
- ER/Critical Care and or hospital nursing experience
- Masters in Nursing
