Job Summary
ER RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Room, collaborating with medical providers and care team to assess, treat, educate, and manage patient needs; documents care in the medical record; promotes effective pain management; teaches patients/families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, follow-up and lifestyle changes; supports clinical education and credentialing as part of a pathway to advance within the department and organization.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Current RN license in the state(s) of practice or compact license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of start date
