Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Deliver patient care addressing physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs within the Emergency Room at Samuel Simmonds Memorial Hospital. Rotate to other service areas as needed while performing duties consistent with demonstrated competency and scope of practice. Provide safe care adhering to the Values & Standards of Nursing Practice, utilizing strong organizational skills and judgment to solve problems. Communicate professionally with internal and external customers. Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with an Alaska license required within six months of hire. Prioritize candidates with three to five years of emergency experience and a BSN.
