Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Manager responsible for overseeing the ED's daily function and staffing, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care, adherence to policies/procedures, and accountability for nursing care outcomes. Lead staffing, interviewing, hiring and training, manage unit workflow, coordinate department operations, address patient/visitor/physician concerns professionally, provide leadership and coaching to staff, and collaborate with other disciplines to enhance patient care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN diploma required
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Tennessee or compact state required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Minimum 1 year of related clinical leadership experience required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum 1 year of related clinical leadership experience
- Current RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
