Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Manager responsible for leading the ER nursing team, overseeing daily operations, staffing, and adherence to standards of care to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Key duties include managing staffing needs, interviewing and training staff, coordinating unit activities, ensuring patient safety and outcomes, upholding competency standards, addressing complaints professionally, and collaborating with other disciplines to improve care delivery. Qualifications include an RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state, BLS within 30 days of start, and a minimum of 1 year of related clinical leadership experience. The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing (or RN diploma) with a preferred Bachelor's in Nursing, at a 270+ bed Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga within the HCA Healthcare system.
