Emergency Room - Clinical Nurse (Evenings)

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within emergency department standards. Promote patient and family-centered care by educating patients on illness management, injury treatment, post-discharge home care, and medication administration. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences and cultural values. Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Maintain a constant state of alertness as this is a safety-sensitive position. Full-time role with 3-12 hour evening shifts; eligible for BJC Registered Nurse Career Ladder progression.
