Emergency Response Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care. Communicate with patients and loved ones to ensure they understand care is being given. Act as team leader to manage the scene and unit as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses while collaborating professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. This role requires a State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification, along with a compliant driving record and physical agility test.
