Job Summary
Paramedic responsible for assessing calls, delivering advanced patient care with equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids), communicating with patients and families, acting as scene and unit lead, driving 911 responses, collaborating with allied health and safety personnel, and participating in community programs to support AMR image and community relations. Requires CA paramedic license, CA driver’s license, and relevant certifications; offers full-time/part-time opportunities with a sign-on bonus and salary range based on hourly pay.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- CA State Paramedic License
- CA State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- ICS 100,200,700 and 800
- CA Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiner's Certificate
