Emergency Response Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and act as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires a State Paramedic License, NREMT-Paramedic certification, and BLS/ACLS. Salary ranges from $73,394.83 to $112,102.00 depending on experience.
