Job Summary
Paramedic role providing advanced medical care on 911 responses. Lead scene and unit management as needed, operate an ambulance, and collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel. Utilize Paramedic skills and equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to deliver high-quality patient care. Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and strengthen community relations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiners Card
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
