Job Summary
Emergency Response Paramedic for a full-time role in Foley, AL. Responsibilities include assessing calls, applying Paramedic protocols, using medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids), communicating with patients and families, acting as on-scene team leader and unit management as needed, driving the ambulance on 911 responses, collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel, and engaging in community programs to maintain AMR’s community relations. The position requires a state paramedic license, a state driver’s license, completion of BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications, and a compliant driving record, plus physical agility and healthcare experience. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably healthcare
