Job Summary
Paramedic responsibilities include assessing each call to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols, employing medical equipment and procedures (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) to provide advanced care, communicating with patients and families, acting as Paramedic team leader for scene and unit management as needed, driving the ambulance on 911 responses, collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel, and participating in community programs to maintain AMR image and relationships.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably healthcare
