Job Summary
Paramedic role requiring WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P, ACLS/PALS, and driving an ambulance on 911 calls. Lead on scene as needed and provide both basic and advanced patient care using equipment such as defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids. Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance, collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel, and participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations. Responsibilities include assessing calls to determine best course of action, utilizing progressive paramedic protocols, and ensuring professional, coordinated care across the unit and scene.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P
- State Driver’s License
- ACLS
- PALS
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
