Emergency Response Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced care. Communicate with patients and families to assure care is being given. Act as team leader for scene and unit management as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses. Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires Kansas Paramedic certification, BLS, ACLS, and a compliant driving record.
