Emergency Response Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Drive the ambulance for 911 responses and act as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Work collaboratively with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. This full-time float position supports Global Medical Response's emergency and patient relocation services across Kansas City, KS, Pleasanton/Linn County, KS, and Cass County/Harrisonville, MO.
