Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action using progressive paramedic protocols. Utilize paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Act as team leader to manage the scene and unit as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses while collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong community relations. Immediate hiring available for full-time roles with a $5K sign-on bonus and hourly rates ranging from $24.97 to $38.32. Candidates must hold a State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably healthcare
