Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given. Act as team leader and manage the scene and unit as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses while collaborating professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. This role offers a pay rate of $73,394.83 to $112,102.00 depending on experience, with paid shift differentials, enhanced holiday pay, and paid training. Candidates must hold an Oregon State Paramedic License and relevant certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS.
