Emergency Response Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and act as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires Hawaii State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NREMT-Paramedic, and physical agility test. Salary $30.89 per hour.
