Emergency Response Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and act as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires Kansas Paramedic certification, BLS and ACLS, and a compliant driving record. Starting salary $61,201.00/year.
