Job Summary
Emergency Veterinary Technician will join the ER team in Campbell, CA to provide nursing care, assist the DVM, monitor anesthesia and sedation procedures, perform in-house laboratory testing, manage patient prioritization, and educate clients. Responsibilities include recording and delivering organized rounds, discussing cases with the team, coordinating treatment plans, and delivering comprehensive nursing care to hospitalized patients during evening shifts (6pm-4:30am on various evenings). Proficiency in drug calculations and CRIs, along with strong communication skills, are required to support a fast-paced emergency environment.
Required Qualifications
- State Registered Veterinary Technician license preferred
- Prior veterinary experience required
- proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions)
