Job Summary
Provide fast, expert treatment for complex injuries, life-threatening illnesses, and serious health complications across three Emergency Departments in the Pee Dee Division. Manage a team of 15 physicians to handle approximately 95k patients annually, with specific volume targets of 45k, 23k, and 27k at Florence, Marion, and Black River Medical Centers respectively. Staff all shifts including dedicated nocturnists, utilizing Epic EHR with AI-enabled documentation to support clinical decision-making and reduce administrative burden. Deliver care to a population that is 85% adult and 15% pediatric, with behavioral health patients treated offsite by a separate clinical team.
Required Qualifications
- ABEM/ABOEM BC/BE OR ABFM BC
- three years of continuous Emergency Medicine experience
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
- Graduation from an ACGME residency program
- Unrestricted licensure in the State of South Carolina
- Unrestricted federal and state-controlled substance registration
