Job Summary
Emergency Medicine physician sought to share shifts between UPMC Altoona and UPMC Bedford Hospitals. The department currently includes Advanced Provider support (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner). Qualified candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine. UPMC Altoona is a 400-bed Level III Trauma Center with multiple accredited centers; UPMC Bedford is a 40-bed hospital with Joint Commission accreditation and Leapfrog A grade for hospital safety. Local major-city access and reliable transit available. The role requires providing care to ED patients across both campuses with collaboration from AP coverage.
