Job Summary
Emergency Medicine physician needed to share shifts between UPMC Altoona and UPMC Bedford Hospitals. Board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine. Hospitals include a Level III Trauma Center, accredited HeartCARE center with a cardiac cath lab and chest pain center, accredited breast imaging center of excellence, thrombectomy-capable stroke center, and diabetes/stroke-related honors. Both sites have Advanced Provider support (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner). Locality-specific postings at Altoona, PA and Bedford, PA with in-person hospital-based shifts; strong teamwork and patient-safety focus emphasized.
