Job Summary
EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN and officer on the U.S. Army health care team. You’ll provide advanced emergency medicine care with access to state-of-the-art technology while serving your country. Positions are available worldwide, with Minneapolis, MN as a listed location. Requirements include an MD or DO from a U.S. school (or equivalent with ECFMG certificate), current U.S. medical license, board eligibility, completion of a GME internship and EM training, age 21-42, and U.S. citizenship. Benefits include a signing bonus, comprehensive retirement and health care, and leadership training as an Army officer.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
- Completion of a training program in emergency medicine
- Between 21 and 42 years of age
- U.S. citizenship
