Job Summary
Provide high-quality, patient-focused care in an advanced urgent care or observation unit setting as part of a collaborative mixed-specialty department. Manage 8-9-10 hour shifts within a 50-hour monthly commitment, working alongside emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospitalist physicians. Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care while utilizing a comprehensive electronic health record to coordinate long-term health and disease treatment. No behavioral health observation is required.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
- 50 hours commitment monthly (5 shifts/ monthly)
- 8-9-10 hour shifts
- No Behavioral Health Observation
