Job Summary
Provide emergency care to patients in a high-volume department setting with support from advanced practice clinicians and specially trained nurses. Manage trauma cases within an extensive system accredited at all four levels and oversee pediatric patients in the region's only Children's Hospital and PICU. Coordinate with a multi-site group of over 125 physicians and utilize air and ground critical care transportation via MedEvac for regional transfers. Work day shifts onsite at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton as part of a nationally recognized health network.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
- Active PA Medical License
- Sound medical knowledge
