Job Summary
Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed in the Northeast Texas area to cover ED shifts as soon as credentialed. Assignment length is 1 year with a minimum 5 shifts per month. Daily MD/DO coverage is 25.86 hours and NP/PA coverage is 11.29 hours, with diverse shift times across days. Eligible candidate must hold an active Texas medical license and ABEM certification, with EPIC as the EMR system. Privileging timeframe is 90+ days, and exceptional credentialing timelines may apply (temps possible, but still credentialing-heavy). Annual patient volume is ~24,000 (about 65 patients per day) with ~18.3% EMS and ~10% admitted. Scribe coverage is not provided. Backup specialties include Ortho, GI, Telenephrology, Teleneuro, and Telepsych. Compensation includes competitive hourly pay, housing, travel, and tail malpractice insurance.
