Job Summary
Locums Emergency Medicine Physician needed in the Gulf Coast region of Florida. The assignment spans days, nights, and weekends at an acute-care hospital with a dedicated Pediatric ED and a 60,000 annual ED volume. ABEM is preferred, but candidates with FM/IM background and extensive EM experience (3+ years) will be considered. The clinician will work at associated Free-standing EDs (FSEDs) and must hold an active Florida medical license and DEA. The facility comprises a 282-bed hospital with 40 ED beds and multiple specialty supports. The client provides lodging and mileage reimbursement, plus additional benefits including housing, car Rental, gas, parking, tolls, baggage fees, tail coverage, and a competitive hourly rate. Required Qualifications
- Active Florida medical license
- DEA registration
- Board eligibility or certification in EM (ABEM preferred) or experience in EM (3+ years) with FM/IM accepted
- Must be able to work at associated Free-standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs)
- Days/nights/weekends availability
- Annual ED volume ~60,000
- Hospital: 282-bed Acute Care with 40 ED beds, dedicated Pediatric ED
- Must be able to credential by 90 days
