Job Summary
Provide emergency medicine coverage across two sites in Birmingham's West Jefferson County, including the new UAB Medical West hospital and a high-volume Hoover freestanding ED. Manage patient volume of 2.0–2.5 PPH solo or 3.0–4.0 PPH with APP support, rotating between facilities to balance acuity and flow. Work 14 shifts monthly (8, 10, or 12 hours) with flexible scheduling, co-staffed by eight APPs without scribes, while transitioning to AI ambient documentation. Earn $500,000+ annually with wRVU-based productivity bonuses in a physician-owned, democratic group offering equal income for non-partners and a clear path to ownership.
